The game, then dining, cocktails and dancing.  A memorable way to spend a Fall Saturday.  (But were they really "The Appollos"?)

The question I can't resist asking is:
Did George Jones actually show up at the WYDE Shindig?? 

But what a big-time lineup!  Back when country music was REAL country.

Remembering a time before Caller-ID.  If you answered your phone with "Happy Birthday, Bargain Town", you could've won $7,500 if they called you.  But what if it'd been Tom York instead?  While trying to keep all those slogans straight, would you still remember the count and the amount??
