Time for some COLOR TV!



But just Okay Crackerby and The Big Valley were in color;
the other two were in lively black & white.  In 1965, ABC was doing well to afford color print adverts like this ... much less some color TV shows!

Thank goodness!  By the time we got home, our Kentucky Fried Chicken would be cold!!

The name "fun-shine" would be dusted off about nine years later for
ABC's Saturday morning cartoon lineup.





Plaid just didn't seem too fashionable when put up against solid colors like
yellow (Top Value Stamps), and green (yeah, that one).
