The more things change, the more they stay the same.  Speaking for myself, I would pay good money if I could get "smothered with reruns like Public Defender, Susie, etc."

Which leads me to a very disturbing thought: someday, somebody who is doing a nostalgic website about the salad days of the 2000s will say the same thing about wishing to see American Idol, Desperate Housewives, and all the "reality" junk on TV today.
