When Loveman's was built in 1935, it had the first escalator in Birmingham ... but it only went from the first to second floor.   After Pizitz beat them to the punch by installing escalators throughout the building, in 1955 Loveman's finally got around to connecting all four floors with new escalators.



Looks like the Davy Crockett craze has made it all the way to Hootin' Holler.


It's easy to figure out.   Right?
