From the beginning to this point, WAPI had been a CBS station, and WBRC had been aligned with NBC.    Curious how both networks spun this station flip.   (CBS was the dominant one in those days)

Here's an ad for WBRC radio ... at the time, the schedule was still a mostly full plate; "radio's golden age" was still pretty shiny, although that orange 'low fuel' light had come on some years earlier.........

Okay, my question is: did Jack Benny figure out a way to duck having to pay for his share of the moving expense?   Eh, he probably suckered Dennis Day into doing all the grunt work for him!
