Norman Rockwell is hardly an image for today's gas stations.  $4.00 gas, $1.59 Cokes, $2.00 small bags of potato chips, and a guy with some Indian name behind bulletproof glass ... it's a long way from Super Shell, TCP, courteous attendants in spiffy uniforms ... and especially that style of architecture.
